Jason Richison: vocals/ lead guitarist.  Featuring "Jason's Magic Guitar", Jason is able to achieve the sounds of piano, saxophone, fiddle/violin, banjo, brass ensemble, and much more right from his guitar!  Using his guitar synthesizer, Jason has the unique ability to stylize his playing so the sounds are exactly as if some one were performing on that particular instrument.  This takes vast knowledge of the stylings and techniques of the instruments being synthesized to achieve this effect.  Jason does this extremely well!  In addition to the synthesizer, Jason's edgy guitar style and singing voice lend themselves nicely to the traditional honky tonk music he loves to perform.  Jason was part of the Fort Scott Jubilee house band and has performed with many of the area's top entertainers.  (visit www.myspace.com/jasonrichison)

Joe Willis: vocals/ harmony vocals/ bass guitarist.  Joe has a unique bass style that lends itself easily to traditional country, outlaw country, blue grass, old time rock and roll, and resembles the driving style of an electric bass guitar with the full sound of an upright bass.  His old faithful Vox Sidewinder bass is an eye catcher, and ear catcher.  Joe is one of the few people who have actually performed on both the old and new Grand Ole' Opry stages.  He comes from the famous musical family The Willis Brothers whose hits include Give Me 40 Acres and I'll Turn This Rig Around.  Joe was the front man for Roy Drusky, and has also backed up Jeannie C. Riley among many other notable entertainers.  His vocal stylings are uniquely his own and his ability to compliment Jason's singing make the Charlie Horse Band vocals a real crowd pleaser.   (visit www.myspace.com/joewillis)

Doug Hudson: steel guitarist/ vocals.  Doug is an accomplished steel guitarist and vocalist who does an excellent job blending harmonies, both instrumentally and vocally, which add to make the Charlie Horse Band's unique sound.  Doug has played from Texas to Canada and all over the Midwest in the 80's with a group called The Midwest Express.  Doug was formerly vice president of the Kansas Steel Guitar Association.  Well known by and respected by other notable steel guitarists, Doug is relaxed and at ease on stage and often injects humor during his performance.  His rendition of Steel Guitar Rag will leave you breathless!

Rick Bevenue: drummer (percussion engineer).  Rick also comes from a musical family.  His dad, Melvyn Bevenue, was inducted into the Western Swing Hall of Fame in 2007 and performed with such notables as Ray Price, Hank Thompson, and Bob Wills' Texas Playboys.  At the tender age of nineteen, Rick's band opened for Ray Price in New York.  Rick has played extensively throughout Oklahoma and Texas with many fine musicians.  With his driving beat and ability to listen to the band as a whole, Rick brings everything together in a unique way that weds beat to melody  for maximal performance of the arrangements.

These are four very accomplished musician/entertainers who have been apprenticing most of their lives to prepare themselves for the group of a lifetime, The Charlie Horse Band.  Do not pass up the opportunity to thoroughly enjoy this great band!
